What's with these latest TV ads and catchy songs?
There's
- Mac Air ad with the song 'New Soul' by Yael Naim
- TV2 ad with the song 'Aire of Good Feeling' by Quincy Conserve
- and now the State Insurance ad with the song 'Walk in the Park' by Oh No! Oh My!
Funnily enough, while the song in the State Insurance ad may sound all happy and rosy, the part they leave out of the ad towards the ad gets dark and contains the lyrics
Don't you just love the lyrics to that song:
"Nice day for a drive-by shooting"
I never knew a happy song could have such dark lyrics!
HA! I like that, thanks. Also, with the MacBook air, its catchy, but i found it really pretentious. *gigantic eye-roll* and the tv2 one... well.... its a nice song, but some of the stuff happening ruins it... like the bus stop kissing. bleargh. and the person in the library that starts laughing.... is that a guy or a girl?!
