Anyway today according to my pedometer, I took 1225 steps, walked 1.030km and lost 37.5 calories just walking around the house. Then I accidentally dropped it on the ground and it broke...hopefully it can be fixed! After eating a pie I probably would have gained those calories again

lol sry that was supposed to be tongue-in-cheek comment TVNZ used commercial revenue to pay Judy Bailey as they believed she was one of the main factors that drew large audiences to ONE News' 6pm bulletin. The reason Helen Clark would be happy such a large sum of money won't be again paid out to one person is because she didn't believe a newsreader was worth that much when 'they only do 10 minutes worth of work a day' (sry not quoted accurately but along those lines). Helen Clark campaigned against extravagent spending in the public sector when she was in opposition and she saw paying $800,000 a year to a newsreader as exactly that -extravagent spending. She would probably rather see it spent on quality local programming (plus it looks shameful for a newsreader to be earning nearly four times the amount the prime minister gets!)
