Don't Trust Kids with Whiteboard Markers

I've been trying to improve my fashion sense by wearing better clothes than just a t-shirt and shorts, which I guess isn't too hard to improve on...

This has seen me wearing pants at church recently, and today I thought I'd wear my mustard coloured chino's that I bought on sale at Hallenstein's (TMI) for only the second time.

Not a good idea around kids...

This little girl who had been scribbling all over the whiteboard with a red whiteboard marker in a room I was in ran up behind me and dotted me on the back of my pants! She then attempted to do more damage, and I had to restrain her and confiscate the whiteboard marker off her.

Unfortunately the damage was already done!

When I got home, I tried putting some washing powder on it and scrubbing with a toothbrush, but it's still there! What am I supposed to do now!

Ready for Winter..Next Year

I think I've finally completed my winter wardrobe...for next year! The end of the season is always the best time to buy clothes since the shops are trying to get rid of all their stock.

To be honest, I've never really had a winter wardrobe. I'm more of a t-shirt and shorts kinda guy, but I've come under a bit of criticism for my lack of fashion sense.

Anyway, after pulling off green skinny jeans without embarrassing myself too much, I ended up buying some mustard coloured chino's, and was going to stop with black skinny jeans, but because they were half-price, I ended up getting some grey jeans too!

Now I've got a bit of a selection. I guess I'm going to have to wear jeans a bit more often now!

My brothers and I are doing a bit of filming this weekend as well, and so I've been spending the day with my mum looking for black shirts that we can wear as sort of a 'uniform'. Initially we were thinking black polo shirts with our logo embroidered on it, but then Aonghas suggested we wear dress shirts, just so that it would be more suitable for any weddings we film in the future. It's been a bit of a mission looking for suitable shirts! They're either too expensive, too cheap...

We were originally going to get the shirts embroidered at the mall by those people who embroider stuff, but my mum thought it was too expensive and reckoned she could do it herself. We'll have to find out!

I Can See Clearly Now

So for the first time, I bought something from Groupy, one of those online deal websites yesterday! In the morning I saw in one of the emails I received that they were offering an eye exam and two pairs of designer glasses at Specsavers for $179.

At first I didn't know what I should do, whether get the deal or not as I didn't know what sort of glasses they were talking about. I was thinking about it all day at work (lucky it wasn't all that busy at work either!) and asked a few friends at youth group who encouraged me to do it.

In the end I thought 'what the hey' I'll just do it! The worst possible outcome is that I will have wasted $179!

The glasses I'm wearing right now are over three years old, covered in scratches and quite dirty anyway. A lot of people think I look quite old in them too!

Now the only thing to do is to decide which frames I should get. I went to the local Specsavers to try some on today and, well...these are some that I can choose from (just ignore the fact that the lenses are covered in stickers!):
